Overview

The RYOBI 80V HP 54-inch zero-turn is RYOBI’s lithium-ion electric riding mower for large properties, and this bundle adds the matching mulch kit. Together they cover large lawns quickly, quietly and without gas, oil or emissions. RYOBI rates the mower’s power as equivalent to a 42 HP gas mower, and it can cut up to 4 acres on a single charge.

Lithium-ion power, no gas

The mower runs on RYOBI’s 80V HP brushless system and comes with three 80V 10Ah batteries and four 40V 12Ah batteries. The 40V batteries also work with RYOBI’s range of 40V outdoor tools. Charge the mower through the rear charging port, which plugs into a standard 120-volt household outlet. There are no oil changes, spark plugs, belts to tune or fuel to store.

iDrive joystick control

Instead of two lap bars, the mower uses RYOBI’s iDrive system: a single joystick controls both speed and steering with one hand. It’s intuitive for new zero-turn users, while still giving the tight, pivot-in-place turning zero-turns are known for. Top speed is 8 mph.

54-inch deck

The wide 54-inch deck cuts a broad path for faster mowing on big lawns. Cutting height adjusts from 1.5 to 4 inches. Out of the box, the mower can mulch or side-discharge clippings.

Mulch kit included

The bundled RYOBI ACRM012 mulch kit includes a mulch plug, two baffles, three mulching blades and assembly tools. With it installed, clippings are cut finely and returned to the lawn, where they feed nutrients back into the soil and reduce the need to rake or bag.
