Overview

The Troy-Bilt Mustang Z50 is a residential zero-turn mower built to cut large lawns quickly. Dual hydrostatic transmissions let it turn sharply at the end of each row and mow tightly around trees and landscape beds, saving time compared with a lawn tractor. A 50-inch deck and a Kohler V-twin engine give it the power and cutting width for larger properties.

Kohler power

The Kohler 7000 Series KT724 engine is a 747cc twin-cylinder engine producing 24 HP. Twin-cylinder engines run with less vibration and quieter, more balanced power than single-cylinder engines. It starts with an electric key start and a 210 CCA AGM 12-volt battery.

True zero-turn control

The dual hydrostatic transmissions, steered with padded lap bars, give true zero-turn performance: the mower can pivot in place to get around obstacles. The parking brake is built into the lap bars.

50-inch cutting deck

The 50-inch deck is made from 12-gauge steel and is designed for a clean, even cut. Anti-scalp deck wheels and a front nose roller help the deck ride over bumps and dips without gouging the turf. Optional bagger and mulch kit attachments are sold separately.

Comfort

A high-back adjustable seat and padded lap bars keep you comfortable on longer mowing sessions.
