The Toro Super Recycler is a premium residential walk-behind mower for homeowners who want a clean, even cut and a healthier lawn. Its signature Super Recycler® cutting system uses a dual-blade accelerator and wedges under the deck to chop grass several times into very fine clippings. Those clippings settle back into the turf, where they break down quickly and return nutrients to the soil. Toro calls this “Lawn Vitamins™.” The result is a greener lawn with less raking and less bagging.

Toro’s Vortex Technology increases airflow under the deck, lifting grass for a cleaner cut and pushing clippings further into the bag. The large mulching bag holds 1.8 bushels, so you stop to empty it less often.

Built to last

The deck is commercial-grade cast aluminum, so it won’t rust the way a stamped steel deck can. Ball-bearing wheels reduce friction and wear, and make pushing and turning smoother. The high rear wheels (10 in.) give the mower better traction and stability over bumps, slopes and uneven ground. The front wheels are 8 in.

Easy to use

Personal Pace® Auto-Drive self-propel reads how fast you’re walking and matches it, up to 4 mph. There are no speed levers or dials: push the handle and it goes, ease off and it slows down. FLEX Handle Suspension absorbs bumps and holes before they reach your hands and wrists, so long mowing sessions are more comfortable. The 4-point height adjustment lets you set the cut from 1 to 4 inches.

The 163cc Briggs & Stratton EXi engine starts with a simple pull cord and has no oil changes, just check and top off. It’s backed by Toro’s 5-Year Guaranteed to Start promise. It also has Blade Stop, which lets you stop the blade without shutting off the engine, for example when you cross a driveway or empty the bag.

Saves space

When you’re done, SmartStow® lets you fold the handle and stand the mower upright on its back. Toro says this frees up to 70% of the floor space a mower usually takes in a garage or shed.

Versatile

Mulch your clippings back into the lawn, or collect them in the rear bag. Side discharge is also possible with the optional discharge chute: it’s not included in the box, but Toro sends one free when you register the mower at toro.com/register. This mower is suited to lawns up to 1/2 acre.
