Overview

The Toro Recycler is a dependable, no-fuss push mower built for small to medium residential lawns. It pairs a reliable Briggs & Stratton gas engine with Toro’s Recycler® cutting system for a clean cut and a healthier lawn, at an excellent price.

Recycler® cutting system

Toro’s Recycler deck cuts clippings into tiny pieces and pushes them back down into the turf, where they break down quickly and return moisture and nutrients to the soil. Toro calls these clippings “Lawn Vitamins™.” The result is a greener lawn with less raking and fewer trips to empty the bag.

Reliable Briggs & Stratton power

The 140cc Briggs & Stratton Ex engine starts with an easy pull of the recoil cord and has the power for regular weekly mowing. It produces 5.5 ft-lb of gross torque. Fill it with regular gasoline and keep SAE 30 oil in the crankcase; there’s no fuel mixing.

Built to last

The 21-inch deck is made from heavy 15-gauge steel for strength and durability. High rear wheels make the mower easier to push and steer, especially over bumpy or uneven ground.

Easy to adjust

The 2-point height adjustment (one lever at the front, one at the back) lets you change the cutting height quickly while keeping the cut level. Cutting height ranges from 1.25 to 3.75 inches.

Mulch or bag

Mulch clippings back into the lawn, or collect them in the included rear bag. Side discharge is also possible with the optional chute: it’s not included in the box, but Toro sends one free when you register the mower at toro.com/register.
