The Toro 21 in. 163cc Super Recycler SmartStow Gas Lawn Mower (Model 21565) is a premium self-propelled walk-behind mower built for homeowners who want a carpet-like finish on quarter-acre to half-acre properties. A heavy-duty cast-aluminum deck, a high-torque Briggs & Stratton engine and Toro’s Vortex Technology™ work together to mulch, bag and cut thick grass with commercial-grade results.

Key Features

• Cast-aluminum mowing deck: rustproof, rigid and lightweight for a stable, precise cut that resists clipping build-up.
• 163cc Briggs & Stratton gas engine: steady torque with an easy pull start – no priming or choking required.
• Personal Pace Auto-Drive™: the self-propel system senses and matches your walking speed, uphill or down, with no levers or dials.
• Vortex Technology™: accelerated airflow lifts grass blades upright before cutting for an even finish and fine mulch.
• Dual blade accelerators: reduce clippings to fine particles that return moisture and nutrients to the soil.
• SmartStow® vertical storage: fold the handle and store the mower upright to save up to 70% of garage floor space.
• Flex Handle suspension: absorbs vibration and impacts to reduce hand and wrist fatigue.
• 10-inch sealed ball-bearing rear wheels: wide tread for traction and smooth maneuvering on uneven ground.

Mulch or Bag – Your Choice

For mulching, the Super Recycler turns clippings into a fine, nutrient-rich layer that feeds your lawn naturally. Prefer to collect? The high-airflow bagging tunnel packs the rear bag tightly from back to front, so you stop to empty it less often. The aluminum deck’s airflow design also helps keep damp clippings from sticking underneath.
